We were working on the fence

and Evan said "when did you build this? ",, " a long time ago", he said "before you had me?" "yes, before you". After a rare couple of minutes of silence, he said "you didn't have any fun",,I said "huh?" he said " building this without me to help, you didn't have any fun".

Don't fence me in.

This cowboy had to go to time-out this morning for pushing his trusty side-kick down in a property dispute.

Weekend pics

Evan on a bulldozer

with a toy one in his hand.

Mom pushing her luck

Mom and Evan

went bowling on one of their outings while Henry was at mother's day out.
Mom has been really great about planning stuff for her and Evan to do on Tuesdays this summer. They have been to Mud Island, the movies,go-carts,bumper-boats, dinosaur exhibit, botanic gardens,roller-skating,etc...Dad got to meet them on some adventures , but had to miss the skating that he was wanting to go on most of all.

Henry got a...

Woody from Toy Story towel.
It makes him really spunky after a bath.

# 2 had a rough week.

His head is from the driveway. His cheek is where he hit himself with a toy tractor.

His legs look worse. I promise that we do keep an eye on him, and regardless of what most blog pics may reflect,,we do occasionally put pants on him too.

Evan had the camera

in the backseat the other day and these are the pics he took.

Henry relaxing....

in his Crazy Creek chair at the Overton Park Shell kids concert series.

Grandaddy and Evan went Fishing.

This is our young angler trying out M&M cookies for bait(notice the Tupperware on the seat).
They switched to crickets and caught one.

Evan got Chiggers...

He's spending lots of time scratching his,.,.,.,.,(well, lets just say "it's the most he's looked like a real baseball player so far"). The medicated bubble baths are helping some.

To Infinity and Beyond.......

Toy Story 1, 2 and 3 are a pretty big deal around our house. Evan LOVES the movies, so of course Henry does too. Henry doesn't say much these days but he sure says a lot whenever he picks up the Buzz Lightyear toy that we have. He makes the same sounds every time and "flies" Buzz around as he says it. I think he is saying Buzz Lightyear's signature line "To Infinity and Beyond!". You decide!

We have been playing with pipe-cleaners

I told told him he looked like Harry Potter and he said "who's that". I have never been more proud.

Lots of yard sales this morning

So, us boys got some breakfast in our PJ's and "window shopped" a dozen yard sales at 7 AM.

Bubbles in the rain

Mom took Evan to the courthouse,

sat him on the counter and told him that he could pick any license plate he wanted (except the Mississippi State one). And this is what we got.

Last week

Mom and Evan went to see Toy Story 3. Yesterday when Dad got home it was just too hot to do anything outside, so just us "big boys" went to see it again, but in 3-D. First movie Dad has been to since he was the only boy that lived here.

Just some Henry pics

Typical Saturday morning.

Evan gets up early and wakes up Dad. He always says "Mom and Henry like to sleep late,,but not us big boys". So here he is playing Wii on the porch at 6:30. Not sure why he had on his life-jacket?
We rode to town for some breakfast, then over by the river to look at some cows.
We got a little close to some and he nervously said "Dad, I don't think you are supposed to drive a jeep around cows".

4th of July

We shot some fireworks(very close to some gas cans)
Evan loved them.
Henry not so much.
After a while he liked them(but from a distance).
