school starts in less than 10 days. Summer was short.

Slip and Slide

at Uncle Adam's house . It was a "grown up" party, but Evan got to slip a few slides in.

Sweet Henry,sorta.

He only likes the bad guys in all the super hero cartoons and these are the type of Lego men he builds. He also has a very good evil laugh that I will try and post sometime.

The week that Henry was sick ,,

 he just wanted to be left alone with the Ipad to Pinterest.

High temps for July.

We all four took turns being sick this month. Each of us had a fever for a week in July. Here is Evan at the lake when we thought he was in the clear. 

 We were getting in the car to come back home when he realized that he didn't get to paddle the kayaks and got real sad.  So we took a short trip while Mom loaded the car.

Allowance

Evan is on the payroll now. He helps Mom by sweeping, cleaning his room and taking out the trash(he has even been forced to scrub the baseboards Cinderella style). Here he is helping Dad in the yard, where he does 20 different tasks for 2 minutes each(its like being inside a pinball machine).

 Here he is spending his allowance. This task, for some reason, can take up to an hour to spend $6.00. Notice the angle of picture; it's because the photographer had to sit down after 20 minutes.
