Mom tried the other day...

to get some pics of the family for a Christmas card. We took 1,200 pics and these are the only 4 that we got.

Mom's glasses

Henry's eyes are

really starting to look like his Mom's(very pretty). Here he is in dad's favorite T-shirt.

Evan's been playing with the guitar this week...

here he is with a little bluegrass.
and then jamming out on Space Wrangler.

Henry will be one this month...

so it's close to legal to turn his car seat around. It was a little crazy at first.(I named this pic Hankster Lean)
Now he is really enjoying the view.

When you're dancin' with your your honey...

and your nose is kinda runny,,you think it's kinda funny ,,,but it's snot.

As of this afternoon,

Evan may tell you that his life is complete. His best buddy Cal's dad Rob invited us over to ride a combine and pick some beans. Rob was great,,,
he let Evan drive,,
showed him what all the buttons do,,,,
and let him push the button that fills the trailer.
The look on his face the entire time was priceless. He is probably not going to be very excited about riding the mower with Dad anymore. I must say, it was pretty exciting for dad too. (I kinda wanted to get to push the button)

Evan got a Touch and Brush!!!!!

Saturday was Halloween,,

and Batman and Robin had a big time. Robin stayed at Grandma's while Batman took the tractor and trailer to town for another hayride to trick or treat.

Evan is four!!!

He got a remote control boat that we play with in the bathtub.
Aunt Jill made him a tractor cake.

He got a fireman hat and a garbage truck and some new PJ's.

We had a party at our house Saturday with moon bounce,

and took a hayride around the neighborhood.

Just a bathtime pic

Thursday is garbage day...

and Evan "helps" Dad take the cans to the curb. EVERY night at supper-time he says"is it garbage day?" Because we have a popsicle while we pull them up to the road.

Henry being crazy

The boys took their bath a little early the other night, so Henry got to play in the living room after the bath. He thought he was staying up late and he decided to go a little crazy.

Evan and Dad went to the

farmer's market on the square and then to a yard sale. We found a great deal,,,buy 5 bikes and get a free batting helmet.

This is Evan getting

excited about his favorite show. Busytown Mysteries.

I found this "head-light" in a drawer today..

and Evan has a new favorite toy..We spent the morning hiking around the house in the dark.

This afternoon Evan used both his lights to help Dad try and fix the light in the kitchen. While I was up on the ladder he said"I think you need to call one of my uncles to help you". I said "huh",,,"you need to call one of my uncles,,Adam, Noah or Grandaddy,,,you need some help" (he was right it's still pretty dark in the kitchen)

In an attempt to score some

points with Mom,we cleaned out the fish tank. Put the fish(his name changes daily) in a pint glass and washed the tank out in the sink. A long, long time ago before we were married, Natalie was doing the exact same thing in Jackson(it was probably a tea glass) and her fish jumped out and into the sink and down into the disposal.
She called screaming and crying"blah, blah, fish, blah, blah, disposal".Long story short, with cold drink in hand in Hernando, I talked her through an elaborate rescue that involved the vacuume cleaner and a pair of panty hose. The fish was saved and the writer's of the TV show McGyver want the rights to my story.

Just us boys

had the kitchen to ourselves this morning and made homemade buscuits, then ate cinnamon rolls from a can.

Rainy Saturday-Lunch by Dad;

Cornbread for Hank.
Pizza on the couch for Stump.
Let the cleaning lady deal with the aftermath.

Thanks Shady.

One night this week

Evan and I made Mom some brownies.
There wasn't much to put in the pan when we were done making the batter.

Henry has really

Really started to hate this gate.

And I guess I'm a terrible Dad for just sitting on the other side and taking pics but,,it gets pretty boring around here(sometimes).

It's just us boy's tonight

so we went camping in the living room to honor King Biscuit Blues fest. For dessert we had trail mix made out of Cocoa Puffs and peanuts.(Henry got a bottle)
And it was an extra special treat for Dad to get to camp with a couple of the bad guys from Karate Kid.

There is a commercial that

comes on during Evan's favorite show(Busytown) for a Touch and Brush. He thinks it's awesome.
He's probably going to get one for his birthday, because every night he says "dad, you pretend to be the touch and brush!"
