The ice cream man

made his way out to our side of town the other day.
and Henry was double-fisted happy!!

He's an angel

with a dirty diaper.

He can't walk,,

but he can go up a ladder
and down a slide.

Evan said "hold on tight"

Probably not the last time Henry will hear that from Evan.

Dad really hopes,

Evan still loves this old truck,, when he gets it for his sixteenth birthday.

If I could only ...

get these two clowns to actually cut the grass!!!!

This is my ....

favorite little guy....
hanging out with my favorite big guy

Henry is still waiting to walk.

He didn't like the way the grass felt on his knees, so he went from one side of the yard to the other like this.

The boys went

to an Easter egg hunt Saturday.
Unfortunately, they weren't in the mood for a picture when it was their time with the Bunny.

Sometimes Dad

lets Evan out of his car seat while we are in the neighborhood.

Henry gets

a little excited while jumping on the trampoline!

Grandma took

Evan, Henry and Kaylin to the Zoo this morning. (they got to invite their Moms).
Evan had to change clothes after jumping into the fountain, so it must have been a pretty good time.

We traded cars with

Uncle Adam for our boys weekend.
Evan said "Dad, Adam has the coolest dune-buggy ever!!!
We took it for a ride this afternoon.
Henry said,"man, there's nothing like havin a couple of Pop-Tarts on a backroad with the top off to make you glad it's spring!."

Mom has left us boys

at home for the weekend. So, here we are doing what we do best. Watching TV and eating chips.

It is an

"Animal House" around here most of the time.

The guys

took the little boat for a test drive the other night.
It didn't go so great.

Evan had the camera

yesterday and took about 100 pics. Here are the 4 that you can tell what they are of.
He is funny when he is taking them. He says "got it!".
And "that's gonna be a good one!" .
After EVERY shot.

Us boys have been

spending a lot of time in the barn lately.

Not Happy Henry

Evan wanted to

organize all of his outside cars, so we made a parking lot on the workbench.
then we made a road that went all the way around the shop, complete with Mt Dew tunnels.

Evan did not want Henry

to ride the gator with him at first,,,
but he got over it.

This is Evan playing

Nintendo at Walmart in his footie pajamas in Jackson at 6:30 in the morning. He wakes up early when we are not at home. After that we went to Krispy Kreme and watched them make donuts for a while, which was pretty awesome!

Evan "working on the truck"

He does not get this from his Dad. The only way Dad knows how to fix cars is to put gas in them,,,,or call an uncle!

Full weekend in Jackson..

dinner with Georgia,,
then bath-time for Everybody.

It was 75 degrees today

so Dad to put Evan to work cleaning the boat. (gotta earn that allowance)

I just love

how serious Henry looks with his hair combed after a bath.

Some pics are tough

to think of something clever to say.

Imagination Movers

is a kid's show that Evan is crazy about. Last week Mom found out that they were having a concert in New Orleans and wanted to go. When she told Dad, he said it was crazy, but whatever. We were going to be in Jackson for a party anyway so she bought them tickets, plus one for Jill(Natalie just knew that she would be a good sport and want to go).
That Sunday morning everybody had a stomach virus:( [i hate these things ;) ]
One of Dad's favorite things about Mom is how excited she gets about things that are fun for the boys,,,,so they went to the show and Dad and Henry came on home. This is Evan and his favorite Mover Smitty.
He will remember that forever and I am glad they got to go, thanks Jill for playing along.

Evan got a shot

and on the way home he told Mom his arm hurt so bad that he wouldn't be able to do the pledge of allegiance the next day. That night we got his band-aid and cotton ball wet in the tub and he freaked out. I told him we could get another and Mom said that we were out of cotton balls. Dad tore the tips off of three Q-tips and made his own, Evan was happy.
The next morning Mom was getting ready and stuck on of the Q's (get it?) in her ear and was not happy with Dad at all !! In Dad's defense the Q was not in the Q-tip container. Oh, this is a pic of Evan ,with a cute haircut, testing the kool-aid just us boys cooked for breakfast today.

This past weekend

we took the boys to the boat show. Evan got in every boat and motor-home there and test drove some dune-buggies. (Henry rode in the backpack)

Mom took Henry for his 1st haircut.

He was very good and sat very still.
Same day, Dad took Evan for a haircut and had a very different experience. Notice that his hair is not cut on the sides. That is because he thought she was going to cut his ears off. We had to take him back the next day to get that part cut. Dad thinks about having his own ears cut off sometimes.
