Halloween

Sad.

We lost part of our family this week. Shady/Sadie would have been 15 on new years eve.
She was old and we knew she wouldn't be with us forever. You tell yourself you are ready for things like this, but you're not.  You also tell yourself you are not going to cry when updating your blog; then it asks for your password.
She is in half the pictures of our lives. There is a picture of her spending the night in a sorority house with Dad's girlfriend(Mom), then one of her sniffing a new baby boy.  And here she is with baby boy number two.

Lowes does a cool kids workshop on Sunday

afternoons at 2:00.  We are fans.

just pics

First Day of 2nd Grade

Parents can walk the kids to their room the first two days. Mom and Henry drove Evan on the first day. When Dad got home from work , Mom was kinda sad because Evan wouldn't let them walk him in. Dad said it must have just been that he didn't want Henry to go in.
So, the next morning Dad took him to school(in the jeep, and we got donuts on the way). As we were pulling into the school Dad asked where to park to walk in and Evan said " you go that way to drop me off". Sad Mom , Sad Dad.

Dad took the boys to the movies

It was the first time the boys have been to a movie that hadn't already started when they got there.

Not the best drawing of a lawn mower

or the best spelling , but it still makes a Dad pretty proud.

Geocaching

Dad is not sure how to spell it. But it is a scavenger hunt you do on your Iphone.  Mom and the boys did it several times over the summer.

First Cheeseburger

from Sonic, and now we are making our own at home.

The storage unit is finally empty.

crazy to think that half the stuff we have been storing for over a year went to Goodwill.

Evan loves Duck Dynasty
