LEAVES

We have so many trees in our front yard. They are beautiful most of the year except for December and January when they loose their leaves and they PILE up in the yard. It doesn't seem so bad when they are in the yard but when they are gone, it is a huge difference. We've got a leaf guy here today getting rid of them. Evan is enjoying it a lot! Here is a before and after of the backyard.

Oxford

My annual Chrimatime reunion with my college friends was moved to January this year. I was glad because Henry was old enough for me to go away for a night. We had a great time in Oxford! Here's a group picture of us at City Grocery before we had dinner that night.

Videos for the Grandparents

I'm posting some videos for the grandparents to enjoy. Two are of Evan enjoying two of his favorite gifts from Christmas - his froggy raingear and his John Deere backhoe tractor. He was a little concerned that his backhoe was getting wet in the rain, but he still wanted to ride it anyway! Then he had fun splashing in the puddles! Next is a video of Henry doing his "exercise" for the day - just a little tummy time! Then a video of the two hanging out early in the morning saying hey to Grandaddy who is away in China!

East Bound and Down

Evan got a guitar for Christmas from Grandma & Grandaddy. He has been having a lot of fun playing his guitar and singing his favorite songs. Sometimes he doesn't get all the words quite right. In the video above he says "watch old band-aid run"!

Under the Christmas tree

We had some friends stop by this morning and Evan was being shy. He got his pillow, blanket and "good dog" and crawled under the tree. He was hiding under his blanket. The next thing we knew, he was fast asleep. It was well before his normal naptime, so we couldn't believe it! He stayed there for about an hour. I hated to wake him because he looked so peaceful!
